Ashley Bellard Milhouse

Owner & CEO

Ashley Bellard Milhouse is a native of Selma, Alabama and a 1999 graduate of Selma High School.  Mrs. Milhouse completed her Associates Degree in Funeral Service Education from Jefferson State Community College, her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management of Human Resources from Faulkner University.  Mrs. Milhouse is a licensed funeral director and licensed embalmer.

Mrs. Milhouse and her husband Frank have two beautiful daughters Zakenzie and Zion and one son, Zaccheaus, who is resting in the arms of Jesus Christ.  Mrs. Milhouse is a member of West Village Church of the Nazarene.

Laura McNeil

Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Laura McNeil is a licensed minister and grief counselor. She is a member of Selma West Village Church of the Nazarene under the leadership and direction of Pastor Brenda J. Tyus and Elder James M. Tyus.  Her services are available upon request during your time of grief and sorrow for those who struggle to understand death.

Denise Hardy

Denise Hatcher Hardy was born in Tyler,Alabama in 1963.  She is the wife Of Arthur L. Hardy Sr, & the mother of two children (Krystal Hardy Allen & Sgt. Arthur L Hardy Jr).  She has a Certificate Of Completion for the Alabama Associate of School Business Officials, Local School Financial Management Certificate Program from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in 2015.  Since 1993 she has been a dedicated employee of the Dallas County Board of Education.  Mrs. Hardy has served as a Bus Driver has 23 years for the District.

In 2014 she took on the role as Secretary/Bookkeeper at B.K. Craig Elementary, in Selma Alabama. She served as Troop Leader for Girl Scouts of America in the late 1990's.  In October 2016 she came on board to Ashley's J.H. William's & Son's Funeral Home.

Dr. Sherica B. Hatcher

Executive Assistant

Dr. Sherica B. Hatcher is a Behavior Modification Director with the State of Alabama. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Auburn University Montgomery, Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Troy University Montgomery, and her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University August 4, 2015.

Dr. Hatcher is the mother of two beautiful daughters: Cassidy Chanel and Dasia Monay, Dasia is resting in the arms of the Lord. Dr. Hatcher is  a member of God's Promise Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Cornell Nobles. 

Dr. Hatcher is a Notary for the State of Alabama.

Dr. Constance Hendricks

Apprentice Funeral Director

Constance Smith Hendricks graduated as valedictorian from Alabama Lutheran Academy in historic Selma, AL (now Concordia College-Alabama). She received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and a master’s degree from UAB with a focus in Community Health Nursing. She also has a graduate certificate in Gerontology from the University of Alabama. In 1992, she earned a PhD in clinical nursing research at Boston College where she was the first African American to complete the nursing doctoral degree at the institution. 

Dr. Hendricks is a certified Life Coach, a certified Parish Nurse, a Notary and a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians
