Louise Parrish was born March 9, 1942 to Louise Brooks Wimes and Frank Wimes. Louise Parrish confessed Christ at an early age and joined Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Marion, AL. She departed this life May 7, 2022 at 3:00 a.m.
Louise was preceded in death by: mom, Louise Brooks Wimes, dad, Frank Wimes, Sr., daughter, Ethel Diane Parrish, sister: Queen Ester Bennett, Mary Ella Childs, and Hattie L. Powell, brothers, William Wimes, Frank Wimes, and Albert Wimes; stepmom, Minnie J. Wimes.
She leaves to cherish her memories: children: Betty Boone (Aaron Boone), Stella Rawls, Ricky Parrish (Mary Parrish), Leola Jones, Gregory Parrish, Tomekia Brooks (Earnest Brooks). God children: Carrie Goodson and Inez Alexander; Grandchildren: Jovontae Jones, Thomas Parrish, Tonya Fomby, Rickee Martin, Larry Smith, Kimberly (Elmo) Portee, Louise N. Parrish, Fred Parrish, Dalila Parrish, Sherry Rawls, Natasha Rawls, Kasey Parrish, Ashley Jones, Shemilla Parrish, Shaquilla (Bre) Hart, Jailon Parrish, Tonya Parrish, Darvion Richardson, Precious Parks, Tony Moore, Latorya Fomby, Breanna Walker. Siblings: LouStella Essex, James (LaRone) Wimes, Lola (Lee) Goman, Mary (Larry) Taylor, Minnie (Eddie) Jackson and Otis (Tina) Wimes. 25 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held May 21, 2022 at Marion Baptist Academy at 1:00 PM, Interment will immediately follow in Pinecrest Cemetery, Marion, Alabama. Family Hour will be held Friday, May 20, 2022 from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. The staff and management at Ashley's Lee & Rollins extends our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the entire Parrish family
